Distribution of gas
barbecue
The summer is a prime time of year for people to indulge in the odd barbecue or two. There
is a high demand during sunny days for barbecue related products. There are two ways of barbecuing, one is
the traditional method of spending what seems like hours lighting coals, and hoping that the flames don’t reach
high enough to burn the food. The other way is by use of a gas barbecue (gasgrill), in recent years these have become much more popular, not only do they tend to last
longer than the traditional barbecues, but they have the added advantage of temperature control, so if the food
does look as though it is about to burn the heat can be turned down or even off.
Many of the big DIY stores stock these barbecues along with the lava stone gas BBQ (Lavastein Gasgrill), as the demand for these is high, the DIY stores often compete for
business by advertising their product on the television. Offering much in the way of outdoor furniture to
complement the summer evenings. Towards the end of the summer months, in preparation for new stock the
stores sell off all remaining stock in the warehouse, often offering the products to the public for discount
rates.
Communication is vital in the business world, during the year all shops have seasonal items in
their product range. If you are shopping for clothing, then you would expect to see summer outfits come into
the shops around the end of March, and at the end of the summer the remains of this stock is then put into the
sale, to sell before the new stock range of winter items are welcomed on to the shelves. This is the same
theory for those shops who are selling BBQ’s, as this is summer stock, then it is vital that the BBQ’s are also
surrounded by other favourite garden items for the summer, these usually include, out door tables and chairs, lawn
mowers, plastic plates and cups, plants, flowers, hanging baskets. This is to ensure effect distribution with
as many products as possible, which are displayed within the store.
